Questions restaurant owners ask first.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests scan the table QR code and pay directly in the browser — Apple Pay, Google Pay or card.

Does DineHub replace our POS?

No. DineHub adds a faster checkout layer on top of your existing workflow. You can start with manual mode and connect deeper integrations when available.

Who receives the money?

The restaurant receives payments through its connected Stripe account. DineHub is the software layer, not the restaurant's bank account.

Can guests split the bill?

Yes. Depending on the setup, guests can split by amount, per person, or per item.

What happens if the POS is not connected yet?

Staff can still see the payment status in the DineHub dashboard and close the table manually in the POS.

Do we need new hardware?

No. You only need table QR codes. Existing phones, tablets or POS devices can stay in use.
